浮遊石に乗る女 (Woman Riding a Floating Stone)

　浮遊石は好んで使う。それは大好きなロジャー・ディーンの影響だ。浮遊石が実在したら、とんでもないエネルギー源になる。世界のエネルギー問題は解決だ。
　ファンタジーでは、浮遊石は空を飛ぶ船に使われたりするが、使い道はもっといろいろあるはずなんだ。そこを追及する作品にはお目にかかったことがない。

Woman Riding a Floating Stone

　Floating stones are a preferred choice. That’s the influence of my favorite Roger Dean. If floating rocks were real, they would be a tremendous source of energy. The world’s energy problems would be solved.
　In fantasy, floating rocks are used for flying ships, but there are so many more uses. I have not seen any work that pursues that.
